Our Story
Our two Directors have each been working in cancer care for over 25 years.
We provide Superficial x-ray Therapy treatment to skin cancers and some non-malignant conditions, as well as skin checks and biopsies in a brand-new fit-for-purpose clinic in the medical precinct of Ballarat. What makes our clinic unique, is that we are focusing on early detection of skin cancers through offering mole mapping supported by Artificial Intelligence software, GP led skin checks and minor treatments as well as superficial x-ray therapy onsite.
Why – skin cancer incidence is the highest in the world
Cancer Council Australia describes Australia as “the skin cancer capital of the world” with skin cancer accounting for 80% of all new cancer diagnoses per annum. (reference)
We believe that we have a role to play by offering the community a patient-centred clinic focussed solely on skin cancer with comprehensive services including education, detection and treatment.
Our Ballarat Clinic is centrally located in Ballarat’s health precinct with all the benefits of free offsite parking and easy disabled access into the building.
This is just one example of our attention to detail when it comes to serving our patients.
